Fong Peng started as a childcare teacher in 1993. She upgraded her knowledge in Early Childhood Education through studies and was soon promoted to a principal in 1995. With her extensive knowledge and work experience she assumes the role of managing operations and administration of a group of childcare centres in 1999.

In 2002, she underwent her post graduate studies in Early Childhood Education before joining Learning Capital College and entered the foray of lecturing in 2003.

She teaches different levels in the area of early childhood education, ranging from Certificate in Infant Care, Certificate in Preschool Education, and Diploma in Preschool Education, both in Teaching and Leadership. With her industry experience in the childcare industry, she's able to share and relate theoretical frameworks to real life situations with her students.
