Apply variety of methods used to communicate children / young persons with special needs. This is dependent on the individual’s level of comprehension and expression. The unit gives ideas to cater for specific strategies and activities.

• Assist with the development and implementation of communication programme to meet the need of the child / young person
• Assist with the individual / lesson planning of required communication resources
